Position: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Watford
Salary: Up to circa £80,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to join a growing and ambitious care provider in Watford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and forward-thinking manager who can combine strong operational leadership with excellent clinical knowledge to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will play a key role in leading the home, developing the team and maintaining the highest standards of care, safety and compliance.
The provider is looking for someone who can lead from the front, inspire their team and build a positive culture focused on resident wellbeing, continuous improvement and operational success.
The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Home Manager within a nursing or residential care setting.
• NVQ Level 5
• Strong clinical knowledge and a good understanding of complex care needs, safeguarding and clinical governance.
• A thorough understanding of CQC regulations, compliance and quality assurance.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and manage a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience driving improvements in care quality, occupancy, staff performance and overall home standards.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to manage challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
A nursing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong clinical understanding, relevant management experience and the ability to lead a high-performing home are key.
